Lochenpass

A compact mountain road with plenty of character — and a great place to experience the rhythm of the road, landscapes and endless scenery. 

Located on the southern edge of the Swabian Alb, the Lochenpass follows the L440 between Balingen-Weilstetten and Tieringen. The 7.5-kilometre pass road climbs through the Albtrauf with a series of sweeping bends and tight hairpins, gaining almost 300 metres on its northern approach.

From the fresh greens of spring, through the warm light of summer, to the rich colors of autumn, every season brings a different character to the road. 

This is the kind of road where the journey becomes the destination — where the machine, the road, and the moment come together.
